About this journey

Devi Ahilyabai Holkar Airport at Indore is the nearest airport to Ujjain, about fifty-five kilometres away and roughly an hour and a half by road including Indore traffic.

This is the one transfer we would always arrange in advance. Fifty-five kilometres of unfamiliar highway, late at night, with luggage and tired children, is the part of a trip people most regret improvising at the kerb.

What if the flight is late?
We track it. The driver goes by the actual landing time, not the scheduled one, and there is no waiting charge for a delayed flight.
Where will the driver be?
At the arrivals exit with a board in your name. We send you the driver’s name and number on WhatsApp the evening before.
Is a late-night arrival more expensive?
We quote the same fare whatever the hour. If that changes for a particular date we tell you before you confirm.
When do we pay?
At the end of the journey, to the driver. Nothing is taken on this site and there is no account to create.
What if we cancel?
Tell us the day before and there is nothing to pay. A car that has already set out for you is a different matter, and we would talk to you about it rather than apply a rule.

Darshan and aarti timings at any temple on this route are set by that temple, not by UjjainSeva, and entry is never guaranteed.
